Something's gotta change...

Today's weight: 118 lbs

Total weight lost between May - Sept 2011: 18 lbs
Weight RE-GAINED since Sept 2011: 8 lbs

Breakfast:
Cereal, almond milk

Lunch:
Shrimp, white fish, broccoli, potatoes, tofu

Snack:
Banana

Dinner:
Baked veggie mandoo (potstickers)

Even though I know the Dukan diet works (and even though I'd like to lose a few of the pounds I've regained), my motivation hasn't been very high lately. Every morning I wake up thinking: "Today I'm going to eat healthy!" -- and I end up eating ice cream, fried foods, white rice, etc.

I've also fallen back into the habit of finishing my 3.5-year-old son's leftovers, as well as eating late at night. However, I think my biggest food issue lately is that I've been eating carbs like crazy.

Sooooooo....

My plan right now is to cut down on my intake of unhealthy carbs, as well as keep up with walking (15,000 steps/day). Hopefully that will help get me back on track...

  1. For me eating carbs is a viscous circle. They make me eat more carbs and more carbs.. but when they aren't in my diet at all, I don't have cravings. Good luck finding food that works for you.

  2. Finishing the kid's food is REALLY bad! At least for me ... for some reason it's easy to convince ourselves those calories don't count. I think it's MUCH better to prepare ourselves a small serving of healthy carbs than eat the left-overs (which don't even taste that good, once they are cold and all mushy!!!).
